Waxing - Temporary Hair Removal
Waxing is a fast and inexpensive way to temporarily remove unwanted hair. Hair Goes uses two methods of waxing, the hard wax or non-strip method and the hot wax or strip method.
The hard wax method is used for delicate parts of the body where the skin can be thin and fragile but the hair is coarse. The wax is applied to the skin in the same direction the hair grows, once it has hardened it is pulled off whole (no muslin cloth) in the opposite direction. Hard wax is excellent for nose and bikini hair removal.
Strip wax is applied to the hair the same as hard wax. The hair is then pulled out by the root with a muslin strip. Traditionally hot wax is the most popular and is great for legs, eyebrows, and backs. A soothing cream is applied to the area afterwards to relieve any sting or redness, the skin is left soft and smooth for 4 weeks.

Sugaring - Temporary Hair Removal
Unlike wax, sugar is made from natural ingredients with no animal testing. It is a paste that is warmed when used. Sugar is applied with the fingertips in the opposite direction the hair grows then it is “flicked” off in the same direction the hair grows. When the hair is pulled out in the same direction it grows there is less chance of breakage and therefore less chance of ingrown hairs.
Sugaring is an acquired skill that is not easily mastered. It is the method of choice at Hair Goes Inc. for most of our clients who come to have a Brazilian wax. It is a fast and easy way to temporarily remove unwanted hair, a soothing cream is applied afterwards and like wax, the sugaring will give you smooth silky skin for approximately 4 weeks.
